Laat je meevoeren door het warme, intense geluid van Gentrifuge: een instrumentaal trio uit Gent dat bestaat uit Johan De Pue (elektrische gitaar), Antoon Kindekens (drums) en Mattias Geernaert (contrabas). Innemende gitaareffecten smelten samen met de stuwende en dan weer kabbelende ritmesectie. Hun composities vormen de basis voor verregaande improvisaties met invloeden uit indie rock, jazz en impressionisme.

Op twee nummers van het album is Nathan Daems (Black Flower, Ragini, Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orchestra) te horen op tenorsax. In april 2015 gaat Gentrifuge op muzikale ontdekkingsreis in New Orleans.

Invloeden: Bill Frisell, Dirty Three, Radiohead, Jacob Bro, Erik Satie en Tom Waits.
